I would say a lot of the best books I read, I read quite awhile ago.

I Was a Teenage Fairy by Francesca Lia Block (although the rest of her books are pretty shitty)
Frankenstein by Mary Shelly. The truest book of being an outcast and how this feeling can turn to revenge and rage towards ever being born.
